I had never envisioned myself to be doing what I am doing today!
Admittedly, motherhood has been hailed as a life-altering milestone. The arrival of my two precious daughters opened my eyes to the immense responsibility of raising children with empathy.
This transformative experience has awakened within me a heightened sense of the importance of actually doing something about it, which at some point was not a clear idea to me until 2017 when my daughter’s question was the kick off of this beautiful journey that has been giving me endless opportunities to meet, work and learn from the children around me.
It’s such a fulfilling feeling to watch the very young individuals be part of our society; it’s even more fulfilling to hold their tiny hands while doing so.
There’s a delicate balance between nurturing young brains with love, respect and kindness while helping achieve themselves with their own empathy and leadership.
The lens through which I viewed the world shifted, bringing into focus all what I believe in, in the upbringing of my own children and decided to share it with other children as well. That is how this newfound perspective became the catalyst for the change I dream of, for the children of my nation.
On the way, I have been blessed to meet many people whom I share with mutual vision and commitment.
